Hope United Methodist Church

Faith on the Edge of Faribault Where All are Welcome

About Us

Hope UMC is a congregation of about 130 individuals who have been worshipping in Faribault for 150 years.  It began as the Evangelical United Brethren Church and then as a United Methodist Congregation when the two denominations joined together in 1968. The Congregation began in a small building and out grew it.  In 1999 it moved to a new building on the edge of Faribault to continue its ministry.  The Church is located in an apple orchard, which is used to support missions.  It also has bee hives and the honey is used to support missions as well.

Hope UMC is a welcoming congregation and has a diverse congregational membership and welcome all people to come and worship with us and join a progressive congregation.
